Join us for an exciting panel discussion featuring current students of Presidio Graduate School! This is a great opportunity for prospective students to learn more about the unique student experience at PGS and how it prepares students to make a meaningful impact in sustainability and social justice. Our diverse student body represents a wide range of backgrounds, industries, and perspectives, and they are eager to share their insights with you. During this event, you will hear about the innovative curriculum and courses available to students at Presidio Graduate School, as well as the resources and support services that are designed to help students succeed in their academic and professional pursuits. In addition, our panelists will discuss the real-world sustainability challenges that students are tackling in their projects and internships, and how their experiences at Presidio Graduate School have equipped them with the skills and knowledge needed to make a positive impact in their careers. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions and engage with our panelists in a Q&A session. Steph Motta MBA, C34 - Steph Motta recently graduated from Presidio Graduate school with an MBA in Sustainable Business Solutions. She is currently working on projects for Closed Loop Partners’ Composting Consortium, a pre-competitive initiative of the impact investment firm and innovation center as well as working as the teaching assistant for Data Analytics at PGS. While at PGS she was a student representative, helped coordinate Showcase and Dance-Off, and she recently joined the PGS Alumni Association Board. Steph lives in New York and is a dog-mom to the incredibly cute pup, Pistachio.
Megan Meo, MBA/MPA, C34 - Megan Meo (she/her) has a diverse resume with experience working as a project manager, pastry cook, long-distance bicycle tour leader, and event producer and is pursuing her MBA/MPA to explore strategies for creating a more just, resilient, and equitable economy. In addition to school, she works as a project manager with Project Equity, a national nonprofit that supports businesses transitioning to employee-ownership. While at PGS, Megan served as a student representative, organized a 5-part speaker series, and is an active member of the Dance Off planning committee.
Demitri Fierro, MBA, C35 - Demitri Fierro is a soon to be alumni from Presidio Graduate School in San Francisco, receiving his MBA in Sustainable Solutions. For the last two years, he has served as Program Manager for the Consultancy Shadowing Program, as well as sustainability consultant for a variety of clients. He has held involvement with well-known sustainability organizations, such as volunteering at the 2022 Greenbiz Circularity conference in Atlanta and,most recently, working as a content writer for the Sustainable Brands Brand-Led Culture Change conference in Minneapolis. Determined to apply his background to bring sustainable solutions to storytelling and media, he is a contributor for the Environmental Media Association in Los Angeles. When he is not working to solve the climate crisis, he can be found journaling, enjoying a nice hike, watching a basketball game or learning about anthropology at a local museum.
Genevieve Resnick MBA/MPA C38 - Genevieve is a full-time, dual-degree (MBA/MPA) student and will finish her degree program in fall 2024. At PGS, she is the co-manager of the Outdoors Club and sits on the Transition Taskforce to advocate for the student voice amidst merger decisions. She chose PGS to hone her business skills and formally explore the nexus between sustainability and social justice; her favorite projects to date include analyzing reproductive justice across my coursework, and the system of potable water access in the San Joaquin Valley. Prior to PGS, she worked in the voluntary carbon market and energy efficiency and affordable housing, primarily in program launch and management.
